Dualverse: Book I: Prelude by W. W. Gregory

4.0

Dualverse Book 1 - Prelude , is something outside of my usual genres. The book focuses on a whole new world that is divided into two realms ; technology advanced , atheistic Inco and Floris  where the religion associated with the cult of goddes Patri. People in both realms struggle with their own conflicts & at a point , the two realms collides as the political backdrop takes an unexpected turn in Inco.

I enjoyed reading this new concept and the plot. The book deals with dominance , power ,  injust acts and relationships so that there's no perfect character in the book. Every person fights their own flaws and you can blatantly hate certain characters as well. Since this English edition is a translation from the original Polish novel , I speculate that the book deserves few edits. Overall , this was one of the books I enjoyed reading the last December. I am so excited to read the Book 2 once it is released.
