The Swap

Wow what a story!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading between the three main protagonists and their intertwining lives and the toxicity in each of their relationships. Firstly you have 17 year old Low, a teenager immersed in a polyamorous family with no friends, Freya, the new pottery teacher whose strikingly beautiful and married and an ex-hockey player, and Jamie, an owner of a small boutique store on the island they all live on.
There were twists and turns, ups and downs and I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride reading this! I couldn't put it down, and found myself up until 3am just to finish it.
I felt that the last 50 pages packs a punch, and as I was nearing the end I was confused as to how it would all end as there didn't seem like many pages left to summarise and end the book, however I felt that it was tied up nicely. I would've preferred that the ending be strung out for a few more pages as I felt it was very rushed in the end, but overall an incredible read that kept me up and wanting more!
