This story is a fast‑paced, edge‑of‑your‑seat thriller that kept me listening to see what would happen next. This book literally made me scream—every time something seemed poised to help the main character, the other side was one step ahead, and the plans fell through. The plot centers on long‑lost sisters striving to help each other while the entrenched Southern rich and powerful, steeped in deception and lies, fights to keep them apart. The ending tied everything neatly together, and I loved how unpredictable it was—I was genuinely surprised by how the events unfolded.
