Brutal, horrifying, and unsettlingly horny. I had to move slowly through this book because of the sheer amount of violence (especially sexual), gore, vitriol between characters, and frankly disgusting sex scenes. I think this is a good book, but I also think that it left me worse off than before I read it. It is an original and terrifying take on the zombie apocalypse, but otherwise this book is a freight train that feels almost sadistic.
