Foer's call to arms and fewer animal products is a cry for help, an attempt to educate so that those of us stronger than him will make the necessary changes to our diets. With overly large metaphors that usually work and occasionally don't, he implores us all to ask why we haven't bothered to do more. And honestly? It works. I'm persuaded, and have started making the recommended changes. And telling people about it. And highly recommend this read. Things just got a little too muddled at the end to make sense of, but the same might be said about the effects of climate change if we do nothing.
