This was such a cute novel. Our story revolves around Hunter and Jonathan. And it is of course the classic my best friend’s brother trope which I was not mad about it at all. I loved the character building here. I think their story wasn’t overly rushed and allowed me to grow alongside the characters. Yes, there is some trauma from one of our guys, but it really doesn’t become their whole personality which is so nice to see. Overall, this is the beginning to a new series and I am excited to see the next one especially with how this character acted in this book. Additionally, I love to see overprotective and caring male characters. Lastly, there is some good spicy scenes so do with that what you will.
