A strong book depicting what it is like to be a woman in a misoginistic society (albeit more covert than others). From the day a girl is born in South Korea (and many other places across the world) she is treated as lesser than and that she has to work hard to appease the people around her. It was a sad and frustrating reading experiece but at the same time I liked the anger it planted in me as a motivator to make things better for women and girls in this world.
