hannah's writing is just so emotionally charged that it's such a relief when the characters finally find themselves. i love that even by the end (pre-epilogue) while the characters ultimately tackle their own faults or struggle, there's still this idea that we are all always constantly evolving, and you can't get all you need figured out by the end of a book, but you can still get your happily ever after. it's what i appreciate most about writers like her and tarah dewitt and chloe liese.
