this was such a cute queer romance. i read the second book in this universe a few months ago and really loved it so i wanted to read the first one and it didn’t disappoint.
delilah and claire were very cute together and i liked that this was just an enjoyable romance that didn't necessarily have to do with coming out or the two main characters struggling with being accepted. i liked that this was just about the two of them falling in love and the story ending happily ever after.
i also really enjoyed the dynamic between delilah and astrid, and how they grew up with such different view points of their childhood. and this author also does such a good job of fleshing out her side characters, it makes me really excited for the rest of this series.
