I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Grady Hendrix never disappoints. This was the perfect summer spooky read filled with hilarious vintage ads, bible thumping body builders, close knit friendships that make you feel like you’re part of the gang and most importantly - horrifying possession where love does truly triumph; pick this up. There are points where you’re crying alongside Abby, horrified for her, horrified for her parents, her friends parents and parts where you find yourself admiring her bravery, her empathy and cheering her on while feeling your heart race fearing the worst. I loved this book so incredibly much and wish I could read it again for the first time.
