What a legitimately stupid book, filled with subtle racist digs at Asians. One of the characters wore traditionally masculine looking clothes as many Asian women do?! The house smelled hot and oily like an Asian restaurant?!
And what in the actual HELL was Kate’s speech at the end of the book? “Men actually have it harder than men?” ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?!
From the ridiculous language to the caricatures that apparently qualify as proper characters, this book was a disgrace of a read. I didn’t like a single character in the book, nothing was developed properly, and I was disgusted that Pyotr and Katya qualified as a couple. Nobody thought that it was so disgustingly dysfunctional that it should have never happened in the first place?
I’m legitimately sickened by this book and want my time wasted on this trash back.
