i actually really enjoyed this one, even though i’m not usually fond of dumb plots and i feel like the grumpy/sunshine trope is never really done well. here, though, i really enjoyed the main characters’ dynamic, and i feel like they were both given a lot of depth. i enjoyed that neither of them liked the other in the beginning and it was truly a story of falling slowly, rather than the usual “he was in love the whole time, you just didn’t see” that often gets over done. i like that alexis hall usually clears up the conflict fast and there is usually a lighthearted feel to the entirety of the book. and this one didn’t have too much banter like most of their other books. overall a good time
