Genuinely profound. The author captures Blackness and womanness in a jar, and lets us lift the lid. Finishing this not only reminded me to keep reading, but to keep living, too. Even as members of the same community, with the same questions, Philyaw's world expanded mine. You should read this, and let her expand yours.
