Gypsy thought it was her job to protect her sister, she thought everything was ok, until the day she got home, and her sister’s innocence was gone.
With everything that had gone on in her life her priority was her sister, Gypsy didn’t know how to love, only to walk away. So just before she was due to get married she showed the groom, some pictures and demanded money, she needed the money to make sure her sister didn’t have to live the way she did.
Lucian watches the girl have the men eating out of her hand, although when she starts to have problems he saves her, only she leaves, but he knows he will see her soon.
Lucian knows he wants to save Gypsy, but when he looks at her he knows he wants to ruin her as well, but he can’t have her, he’s only goal is to save her from the life she lives.
She’d heard about Lucian West, but when she saw him, she didn’t expect to have to marry him, to save her sister from going to jail, she knew her life was going to change when she heard the vows.
Gypsy tries to defy him at every turn, but she didn’t expect him to tell her he would never hurt her and cuddle in bed.
Between seeing her priest and Lucian, Gypsy starts to wonder if she can change, and she learns more and more about Lucian and that he’s not the monster she thought he was.
The lines between them were starting to blur, and with the touches and kiss, for once Gypsy didn’t feel dirty when a man touched her and started to wonder if she may not run this time.
Gypsy pushes Lucian at every turn, until she pushes to far and releases the monster in him, only when he sees her panic realising what he did to her, when he finally works out that it was jealousy that made her act out, he was torn, he lets her know he does want her but could never ask the things he wants of her, then she tells him to show her.
Seeing Lucian’s darkness, she knows she can never give him that, but he tells her he never wanted that with her, Lucian fights his demons and lets Gypsy know he wants her. The can’t deny the chemistry anymore, he worshiped her like no one had before. Can Gypsy fight the filth she’s always known and the urge to run. While Lucian believes that Gypsy can change, can he change himself to find the joy in life he thought was lost. They both believe they can’t love, but are they willing to try, or will their lack of trust leave them by themselves again.
