Bone Crier's Moon
by Kathryn Purdie
Bone Crier’s Moon was a fast paced read the sucked me in almost immediately. It has my favorite trope, enemies to lovers, as well as very detailed lore for the Bone Crier’s.
I absolutely adored the friendship between Sabine and Ailesse. These two ladies displayed platonic love in such a perfect way and neither tried to change the other. Their relationship was nearly my favorite in the book.
I do love enemies to lovers books, they’re always my favorites and I always say, “if they’re not trying to literally kill each other then I don’t want it”. Clearly I did love the beginning of the relationship between Bastien and Ailesse, but it honestly fell off for me. We never really got to watxh the two of them fall in love, it was so rushed that I couldn’t bring myself to give this book 5 stars.
Overall I’m excited to read the next one.
