I listened to the audio while following along in my physical copy ...

I loved everything about this!

It reminded me a but of 'The Transformation Trilogy' by Cassie Alexander, in the sense with the extensive introduction of magic and the likes.

This held up to its own 👏🏽

I just loved the slow burn between Graves and Kierse ... and i just loved that the setting was constantly changing, but you did not see any hiccups in between.

Everything just flowed so well ... although I saw through the stories Graves shared with Kierse, the way the author wrote it in was 🤌🏽

I am excited for book 2!
