It was okay. My attention was held enough to read it through, but a lot of the character’s personalities fell flat for me. Luke’s relationship with his parents was a good detail to have, if done right. But in this book it felt more like a random piece of info than any type of explanation/character building. It didn’t feel necessary. All the characters felt like loose ends? Their personality would start to come together and you can see the start of a full masterpiece.. then the character suddenly stops and development stalls.
These quick as hell ‘he falls first’ books are throwing themselves at me like no other.
