Birds of a Feather by Jacqueline Winspear

4.0

I really enjoyed this one. Maisie is developing into a more interesting character-- I liked her in the first book, but it's nice to see she's human, too. It was really interesting to learn about the
Spoiler white feather women
and other aspects of life in that time; that's always one of my favorite parts of historical fiction (well, when the author does their research, anyway)!

Giving four stars instead of five for a few tiny continuity or place errors, and a few paragraphs I thought could have been tidier or entirely omitted. Not distracting enough to hinder my enjoyment of the book, though.
