YES. Yes, yes, yes. Was this the best thing that ever happened to me? Possibly.
I opened this book kinda wishing I was reading about my children in Morgan's series on which this is a spin-off. Well, that attitude changed real fast.
This was such a rollercoaster. The exact kind I've come to expect from this freakishly talented author. This book was just so dang entertaining.
The plot had so many twists and turns that my hands were actually fluttering while I was reading, like I couldn't keep still.
Becca's story was addicting to read. Loved, loved, loved Maddox. I ship it. Also, I need to see the Barney/Maddox/Becca crew together again, they were so much fun. Also, I'd love to see the goddess Cleiona show up!
Crystal was extremely likable. I gotta say, the Toronto setting was amazing. And that little bookshop sounds like a dream. Another twist:
Farrell. Is he our new Magnus? (I can't even think of Magnus without needing the next book in that series.) I think so! Didn't love him, but then again, I hated Book 1 Magnus, sooo...

Farrell's brother, Adam, helped the girls escape in the end! The mark isn't working on him, I'm so excited! Also, Crystal's dad helped too, which was suprising.
