Beauty and the Beast by Teddy Slater

4.0

I read the Bahasa version. This story taught me so many things and probably one of my favourite Disney story.

Lesson number one: Never ignore or underestimate beggars because they either witches that'll turn your pretty face and hair into horns and full of fur or a billionaire doing a social experiment to see if you care about beggars.

Lesson number two: Don't marry a person because of their looks. Gaston is sure incredibly charming and muscular but he was a bad boy and my girl Bella doesn't deserve a bad boy. He only love Bella for her looks and God knows what he will do when they get old. And, he looks for Bella's weakness and makes it a weapon to win her heart, act insolent to her father, and huft, I hate guys that has no manners at all.

Lesson number three: Don't be afraid of beast. Spread some good deeds and you yourself will reap the goodness. Bella helped the conceited, arrogant prince to be a better person and to be honest, that's very brave. Every person has their own beauty whether from outside or within them. Don't be afraid of beasts because they could be a cursed prince, you never know.

This story is enchanting.
