The Lion's Daughter by Loretta Chase

3.0

this was definetly a new type of historical romance for me. we moved out of victorian times and more into regency here, so virtually everything was/felt different. from the writing style, to the word choice, to the characters values, this felt like i was reading historical fiction with romance rather than a romance that is set in a historical time period. this also meant tht i was looking up every other word while reading and that kindle progress bar was moving so SLOW. come to find out this was only 368 pages…. i’m embarrassed. but anyway, i’m now on the loretta chase bandwagon and cw till i get to the third book in the series
