Misadventures with a Manny by Toni Aleo

4.0

4/5 Stars

What do you do when your husband runs off with the nanny and your kids scare away any other potential help you can find? You go with the manny.

Lincoln went to school and discovered his love of teaching and helping children grow. This love helped him find jobs as a manny. He can cook, clean, and teach arithmetic all in one day. He is also extremely easy on the eyes. When his current family moves to Germany, Lincoln decides to take a job caring for his best friend’s sister-in-law’s children.

Vera is in a slump. Her husband left her for the nanny (and got her pregnant). She has three children to care for and her ex is acting like a child himself. She knows that she needs help, but does not know if a manny is appropriate. However, when Lincoln walks in the door, her ideas soon change.

Their chemistry is instantaneous and their love story is a classic mix of sweet and spicy. This addition to the Misadventures books will not disappoint. Fans of Toni Aleo and those who are new to her work will all fall in love with Lincoln and Vera. A wonderful story about finding yourself and finding love in the unlikeliest of places.
