For about the first half of this book, I liked it, but wasn't finding it to be anything particularly exceptional. But at about that halfway mark, something unexpected happened, followed quickly by another event, and I was surprised- and hooked, reading the rest of the book in one sitting. This is the perfect time of year for a book like this, as anything that will keep me up late reading is my preferred type of summer reading.
