Where do I begin with this story?

I've always felt this manga series was very undersung and underloved, even when it was being released as I was in high school.  The art is still beautiful with a unique style, and the story, the characters, the mythology woven and built in here is phenomenal.

This first volume is PACKED. You're going to get a lot, you're going to learn a lot, right out of the gate.  And it's worth it.  It always has been.

This series is my baby and it's been far too long since I've revisited it. If my review can convince anyone to pick it up, I sincerely hope it does, even sparse as it is. Trust me, it's worth hunting down all six volumes and reading them.
