The Devil's Own Duke
by Lenora Bell
Historical romance is well on its way to becoming my favourite genre and I’m not mad about that. I loved reading this book and there was no point in which I was bored or felt reluctant to keep reading, I was just hooked constantly. I loved Hetty and Ash both together as a growing couple and independently as themselves and I thought they were both well fleshed out and the developments they both went to was so rewarding to read about. I cannot wait to read more from Lenora Bell.
NOTE: I didn’t realise this was technically a sequel when I brought it so I have since ordered the first book which I will read, most likely when it arrives, but this did not hinder my experience whilst reading as, from the first book’s synopsis, those two characters are only briefly in this book so it didn’t feel too major when I knew I would be reading their book in the very near future.
