I don’t like the writing style and Wendy’s internal monologue is exhausting — takes up so much of the time, but also has no emotional depth even during a

kidnapping/mass killing event?

The writing throws in some strange, long metaphors and descriptions that pulled me out of the story. I was surprised that the overall rating in this app was so high, but then saw there’s only 20 something ratings.
