it’s exactly what you’d expect from a smutty alien romance however I would have liked a little more substance and build up before getting to the meat and potatoes of it all. There wasn’t enough time to get to know the characters individually even less so when they finally got together but maybe that was the point? Im not well versed in the Ruby Dixon alien verse so correct me if I’m wrong but imagine my shock when Emvor revealed to have a spur I thought that genetic mutation only appeared on the alien men in Ice Planet Barbarians and if I remember correctly they haven’t had contact with other planets let’s alone, solar systems to have fought a war so I am a little confused on Emvor parentage (I’m putting way too much thought into this I’m sorry) If this was on ao3 the tag definitely would’ve  been p without plot lol and if that’s all you’re looking for then you’ve come to the right place.
