Bet On It by Jodie Slaughter

4.0

I liked Bet On It a lot. The mental health aspect was great. As a person that suffers with mental health issues, I found comfort in the pages of this book. A realistic representation of life after trauma or with a mental illness is hard to find. I also love meddling old ladies with good intentions in books, so Gram was an excellent addition to the story.

I enjoy Jodie Slaughter's writing style. It's accessible, but not dumbed down. I flew through the book.

My one critique would be that it's not heavily focused on the romance aspect. It's there, but I don't think it's the main attraction. I would still 100% recommend this book.
