I "have beef" with this book. And the hip lingo is just the start of what I found annoying.
What happened here? Did we just throw out Lorcan's character and a decent plot with a meaningful ending, FOR A MONEY GRAB AT ANOTHER BOOK? For SHAME.
This was disgraceful. I miss the old Lorcan, who wasn't a jealous, insecure man baby who gushed about the stupid girl who acted like she was 13 for the entirety of this series, showing very little growth.
The only character that I found interesting was Justus. I could have done without the rest of these side characters. Too much unnecessary JUNK. And the INFO DUMPING?! Gods save me.
This book was rushed, and I the ending to be borderline insulting. I LOVED the first book. The second book was great. This one? Was a drag from the beginning and the ending had me upset.
