i guess i liked the worldbuilding of this book, like the idea of ancient greek gods living in modern day london is funny and interesting. i felt the plot fell through.
i don’t know why Alice had to forgive Apollo in the end.  i also was dissapointed with the ending because what so the greek gods are now back in power. why are they the only gods that are real? i know Neil Gaiman isn’t a vibe anymore but i just don’t buy into the idea that the ancient greek gods are the only real gods, even in this fictional sense. seems way too simplified.
i think this book was more just for the humour and absurdity, and less actually about engaging with ancient myth in a modern way, if that makes sense. not my fave book but probably good research for my own novel.
