Nora Sakavic never disappoints. I just love her writing style, and I feel she is so close to the kind of writer I want to become. The way she describes the character in such a subtle way makes me so excited, because I feel them in the bottom of my heart. Once again, she proved her amazing ability of presenting the book the way the main character would: like Neil’ trilogy was constellated with lies and distortion of reality that made him an unreliable narrator, Jean’s perfectly reflects the kind of person he is. The time seems to go by really slowly, and the days all look the same, just as when he was in the Nest. And I think his relationship with Jeremy is so realistic that it makes it very easy to picture them in the reader’s mind. I love the slow burn, as always. As much as it’s not as bad as the other books of the saga, beware of the trigger warnings.
