Thrown to the Wolves by Charlie Adhara

5.0

This is my favorite book in the series so far.
I know that it is not as crime/mystery heavy, but the romance and politics were absolutely amazing.

Is it angsty between Cooper and the Parks? - YES
Is it angsty between Cooper and Oliver? - YES, but they also work it out (though some of the miscommunication was a bit frustrating, but resolved quickly)
Do I love Oliver even more than before? - YES and the same goes for my admiration of Cooper. He is such a likable character. So strong, vulnerable, funny, awkward... and just right for Oliver.
The smut is delicious, detailed. Love the role playing and tenderness.

What I also adore about the series is the setting - either mountainous, secluded, full of forests...or snow and wilderness. I really love such a setting as it is moody and complements the story as such.

I feel like each book exceeds my expectations on a completely new level and it is true. I cannot wait to read the next books, but I also do not want to part with Cooper and Ollie.
