I had high hopes for this being a series I could read as a casual way to spend an afternoon curled up in comfort. Whilst I read it, I was too distracted by the premise of a cookie store owner being a better detective than her detective brother-in-law. Pity really, as it was a fairly enjoyable read, but I'm afraid I couldn't get beyond it. I did copy down the recipes though!
