The collection of essays in Bad Feminist were interesting to read and somewhat thought-provoking. However, I don't feel that this book stayed with me in the way I expected. My biggest takeaway is that everyone is doing what they can as they can and demonizing anyone who is trying their best isn't the best way to go about this world. However, I got that from an interview Roxanne Gay did on a late night talk show when mentioning this book. I'm glad I read it, but don't know if I would really recommend it.
