bimblinghill 's review for:
David Copperfield
by Charles Dickens
I love this book. I sometimes rate it as my favourite ever novel, although I can't quite pin down why exactly.
I've heard that some of this was semi-autobiographical, and I think this tightens the focus of an otherwise sometimes rambling writer. It has his trademark eccentric characters with weird names and his progressive (by Victorian standards) moral viewpoint.
