What a surprise this book turned out to be.  The pacing was great, especially for a book that is the start of a series.  I get really frustrated when the end of a book one just leaves us hanging with a cliffhanger, without some resolution to some things.  I found it easy to connect to the characters and I loved the fact that they started picking up allies along the way.  I think the next one comes out in a few months and I can’t wait.
