How to Fake-Date a Vampire by Linsey Hall

4.0

Emma is a clumsy witch, and she has such a great personality. I love her unfiltered thoughts. She has a penchant for sticking her foot in her mouth.

Alaric The Duke is desperate, rude, and hot. He seems To have gotten into a predicament with his grandmother and now needs Emma's help. He proposes a fake relationship.

Emma's luck seems awful, and she is a very novice witch. The things that happen to her are almost funny in their absurdity, but could it be someone trying to ruin things for her?

Penelope the skunk is the best part of this story. I love her aggressive attitude and expensive tastes. This book gets a little N/A Steamy; it is adventurous but needs to be better described.

Sweet and perfect Alaric makes you swoon with his grand gesture and confession of love. I love that Emma found precisely what she wanted, albeit in unconventional ways; it works out.

Overall, this was a sweet read and a great story to delve into for that seasonal ghost and witchcraft, but with just enough romance to make you swoon. This was a happy read, with many moments that make you smile in the story. The book is a paranormal romance, but it is about finding your true family, connecting with your past and future, and, of course, all the witchy things. This was a great read, and I recommend it if you are looking for a feel-good witchy romance.
