bendan 's review for:
Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, Vol. 1
by Inio Asano
dark
funny
mysterious
tense
fast-paced
Loveable characters:
Complicated
First of all, i think the dialogue got a bit lost in translation. Alot of sentences feel either very robot like or just have random difficult words thrown into them and it doesn't really make much sense. Some more important scenes go so fast and then some other non important get alot of focus. And overall it's just confusing of whats going on.
No idea how old the characters were supposed to be because i thought they were like 12 but then theyre getting ready for college and (spoiler!!) the story is building up a teacher x student romance???!! And just the scenes the story focuses most on is just like random scenes of these teenage girls talking about sexual stuff in a really strange way. (like not how teenage girls are 🙃)
I do love the art tho, 2 ⭐for that. I dont think ill be continuing the series tho except if someone says it gets better!
