Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

4.0

in a way, i'm not the main target audience of the book but the way the storytelling reached inside my chest and made me feel quite the emotions is a testament to the author's talent. the story of the Lee family felt like a ball of knotted string that kept untangling and unraveling until it was stretched so taught it would break. and break it did.

i may have cried for Lydia and for Marilyn, stories i found that i relate to so clawingly.
