I listened to the audio while following along in my physical copy ...

How do I start this?!

I have had the entire series [yes, all 9 books!] in my home library for a few months now, with the pure intention of starting. However, I did not get to it until now ...

And let me tell you ...

It was worth the wait!

I did read some of the reviews while reading, and some had an issue with the way this was written ... saying that the poetic style was dumb.

However, this is EXACTLY what drew me in further to this author's writing.

I related so much with Juliette ... the emotional abandonment suffered at the hands of someone who was supposed to be there for her.

And then how she chose to escape from her loneliness by writing ...

*tears*

This is me!

I used writing to escape from 'real life', even for a little bit.

The reason why I said I was drawn in to the poetic style writing, was because I also used poetry as a way to tell a story, my story.

I guess I see past the "ideal" way of expression when it comes to poetry ...

I am excited to continue this series, because the events leading up to the ending 🤯

P.S.: I love Adam! ✨️
