this was a really excellent novel, with rich worldbuilding, interesting and distinct characters, and a lot of really important themes. i love the way the reader’s image of the world changes along with the main character’s worldview as more information is revealed. there are moments of rest, but for the most part the plot proceeds at a breakneck pace. a great read overall!
