The build up was good and the duties at the end was unexpected. I liked the alternating chapters as we got the story of Ethan and that relationship parallel to Louna getting to know Ambrose. What I didn’t enjoy was the ending. It felt rushed after such a long build up. I listened to this as an audiobook and the entire last chapter felt like a quick wrap up. I was confused by the end at how things shifted and changed in what I assume was a few pages. The characters acted differently with little explanation to their sudden changes of heart or thinking.
