Under An Endless Moon by A.L. Jackson
5.0
Tropes:
-MC romance
-friends to lovers
-age gap
-brother's best friend
-secret romance
-forbidden romance
-forced proximity
-romantic suspense
-found family
-"it's always been you"
-touch her and die
-dual POV
This was my first contemporary romance by A.L. Jackson and one of my first experiences with MC romances. I am officially hooked on both now. My favorite aspect of MC romances is the family dynamic; I love that the characters always have each other's backs, no matter what.
Raven and Otto were absolutely captivating. I adored their chemistry and the tension that simmered beneath the surface before they acted on it. They have known each other for a long time, and they can read each other like a book. Being Raven’s hero during her nightmares had me swooning. The suspense in the plot was perfect.
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum. Both did fantastic jobs, and Connor's voice is always a pleasure. This excellent book is available on KU. I hope you read it and love it, too! Let me know what you think!
Quotes:
“You are the light inside of me, Raven. Only thing that could ever lead me out of the dark. Gonna love you through it all. Under every endless moon. And when dawn finally breaks, I will watch you rise.”
“Look at you, Raven. Look at who you are. If you could only see the way I see you. You are brave and strong. So goddamn beautiful. A bloom in the middle of the darkest night.”
