I was loving this book in the beginning. I liked the pining and the themes of deep friendship and unrequited love.  However, around 2/3 through I thought the book started to lose a bit of steam as there was little propelling me forward.  I felt like the author set up some good opportunities but didn't take them for example
she could have had the FMC again present a cup to the MMC toward the end and accept his offer to be his queen
.  It also did not help that some time had passed since I read the previous books and I forgot some of what happened in those so the thread tying the books together was somewhat forgotten to me. I did think once the characters started communicating again they handled discussions of their past issues fairly well.
