I love the GeneticAlly universe so much. It was so satisfying to see Fizzy get her love story, and I'm a sucker for dating shows (in books and in reality). I appreciated the single dad representation, their clear maturity from being in their late thirties, and the commentary on seeing romance-related media as "less than". Connor was a gem and I lived for their banter and bestie vibes. I will say that I am definitely more Team River, but as a character, I relate to Fizzy's chaos a lot more. I loved the Juno/Stevie cameos and all the inserts of River being the best dad. This book had its heart wrenching moments and its lighthearted ones as well, and I quite enjoyed it. It isn't as good a the Soulmate Equation for me, partially because I completed predicted the ending, but I still adored the writing style and premise. Is it too much to ask for a sequel to the sequel?
