Year of No Clutter by Eve O. Schaub

4.0

A look at our attachment to our possessions. The most remarkable thing about this book is how closely the author’s experiences of relating to her possessions match my own (I’m not a hoarder, but I’m not great at throwing things out if I can help it), which is the first time I’ve seen this kind of attachment explained in all the trashy hoarding tv shows I’ve watched and trying to internalize Kondoism. Knowing where it comes from and that it’s not simply laziness for most people is very reassuring.
