This is the first book in a long time that has just utterly gripped me in a “I don’t want to put this down” kind of way. Finished the entire thing in 3 days.
The premise is perfect from the start, but the way Bel, as a semi-unreliable narrator, navigates through each new reveal and secret is gripping.
Sometimes I hate Bel and sometimes I love her. Carter is probably my favorite character and thereveal that her and Bel are sisters, while it didn’t shock me, actually was the perfect full circle moment .
