Wow, No Thank You. by Samantha Irby

Absolutely hysterical. Super gross and over the top, but I laughed out loud many times. She is just so goddamn honest about everything-- especially bodily functions. We read this with my book club and will discuss this week. I'm hoping everyone enjoyed it, but regardless, I'll be reading all her other work asap. I've been meaning to read Lindy West for awhile, too, so diving into her book and TV show now. (Irby and West are buddies and Irby wrote for Shrill.)

UPDATE: Those folks mid-50s and older in our book group hated this book! The number of f***s and other cuss words seemed to upset them the most, though they had a hard time relating to some of the subject matter (the mix tape essay, in particular). Regardless of age, though, everyone related to and loved the essay "Body Negativity"!
