An interesting collection, and, admirably for any SF collection, one where half the authors are women. There is quite a range of fiction here, from the fantastical to the philosophical, the psychological to the political, and just good old-fashioned storytelling. Some stories seem opaque due to cultural unfamiliarity, but I don't think that is a negative. I look forward to reading the other anthology, Invisible Planets.
