The Hood by Frost Kay
5.0
I thoroughly enjoyed this unique Robin Hood retelling. Not only is Robyn Hood a woman, but she’s a down right badass. This story is full of action, adventure, loyalty, romance, and family. This tale is much more than the fairytale we all know of.
Robyn’s duty is to her people, and I loved her brave and sassy character. This fictional work is complex, unique, and absolutely captivating. The writing is imaginative, the characters were unique, the action-packed story was captivating, and I could not put this book down.
The Hood is the fifth book in the Twisted Kingdoms series and can be read as a standalone. I can’t wait to read more of the Twisted Kingdoms stories!
